I started this project as a portrait of myself as David Bowie, whom I admired as a successful musician and actor that was able to move beyond the gender roles that our society attempts to impose. In the process, it twisted around to become a portrait of David Bowie as me. Over time, I've gone through many phases and characters, like David.
